Pink Pumpkins Coins 4 Chemo was founded in 2014 by DeeAna Bedics after battling a lengthy 6+ month cancer treatment.

During her time dealing with her own personal battle, she couldn’t help but interact with other patients and hear their stories. Understanding that many were worried about bills, family, and food when they should have been focusing on staying strong and healing, DeeAna set out to found Pink Pumpkins Coins 4 Chemo. 

Headquarted in Northampton, PA, Pink Pumpkins Coins 4 Chemo(a united-way recognized non-profit), holds several fundraising events throughout the year to donate to the Prager Patient Assistance Fund with Lehigh Valley Health Network. The fund, and the efforts of Coins 4 Chemo, go to supplying patients with long-term prognoses with food, extra funds for bills and services, and holiday gift baskets. 

Like many Lehigh Valley Businesses, the PPC4C Board of Directors and DeeAna herself are dog-lovers to their core. In addition to our main mission of funding and supply support, PPC4C works hard to also supply patients in need with pet food, pet care, and special visits from their favorite furry friends in normally difficult to manage spaces (chemo, hospital rooms, etc.).
